The Baptiste Power Yoga Institute is a registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance for a 200 hour teacher certification.

The Baptiste Power Yoga Institute's Teacher Certification program provides the necessary 200 hours to students to receive the designation of Registered Yoga Teacher ( R.Y.T.). Successful completion of the Baptiste Teacher Certification Program allows students to apply to Yoga Alliance for the R.Y.T. designation. Only the components of the current Baptiste Teacher Certification program are eligible for this process. No other Baptiste programs can be substituted for those listed here as detailed in the Requirements for Baptiste Certification.

Once students have completed their certification with BPYI, they can submit an application to Yoga Alliance. Yoga Alliance will verify the student is a certified teacher with BPYI (as listed on our Certified Teacher's page of the Baptiste website with two asterisks **), and will process their application. You can obtain an application by visiting www.yogaalliance.org.

If you are already a certified teacher with BPYI and you would like to pursue the designation of R.Y.T, you are now eligible to submit your application to Yoga Alliance. Reviews will be done retrospectively, for those who completed BPYI certification prior to BPYI's designation as a R.Y.S (Registered Yoga School).
