Lisa Goldstein

Lisa feels blessed to have had the opportunity to study and teach Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. After taking her first class at a local gym 8 years ago, Lisa found herself crying after class and was compelled to discover what could bring her to tears in such a powerful and emotional way. So, being the inquisitive and curious person that she is, Lisa hopped on a plane to spend a month in India. Traveling around and absorbing the sights, smells, and sounds of that amazing country, Lisa ended up at an Ayurvedic Center in the South. There she practiced yoga daily and began a journey of discovery that is still ongoing.
Since walking into the BPYI in Cambridge in 2000, Lisa has been transformed. Baptiste Power Yoga has become a source of strength and healing from the inside out. Through all of the classes at the studio and the personal revolution weekends, Lisa was inspired along the path of yoga. As she became more flexible in her body, Lisa also became more flexible in her mind. Lisa likes to say, "I was never a gymnast or a dancer. I had no idea what my body could do. But it is bigger than that now. I can't believe how the physical changes have manifested themselves emotionally and spiritually. I have found balance, equanimity, and contentment. Yoga has changed my life!"
Within a 9 month period, Lisa attended bootcamp, Level 1, and Level 2 teacher trainings. During this time, Lisa moved emotional mountains and uncovered her authentic self. "Transformation through yoga is possible. Level 2 was the experience of a lifetime - - to have the opportunity to spend time with Baron in an intimate and intense setting has changed me. It is as if Baron saw directly into my soul and was able to see things that I am only seeing now."
Lisa is dedicated to teaching Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. In addition to studying with Baron, Lisa has studied with Sharon Gannon, David Life and Yogeswari of Jivamukti, Jonny Kest, and Paul Grilley.
Lisa sees it as her job to spread Baron's message in New York City. She teaches privately and does workshops all over town. For more information, visit www.projectyoga.com.
