Julie Meyers

Julie Meyers is the mother of three boys in Ruston, La. Julie is a former tri-athlete. She was drawn to yoga due to her injuries and the growing stress of being a mom. She received a certification in Hatha yoga in 2002. That year she bought her first Baron video and has been hooked every since. In June of 2007 she completed her certification with Baptiste Power Yoga becoming the first Baptiste teacher in Louisiana.

Since her training with Baron her classes have grown and her life has changed. Julie now owns her own studio. She is dedicated to the Baptiste Philosophy of speaking to the hearts of her students.

"I have found nothing like this process. It awakens our bodies, mind, and spirit. We live is such a detached society that is refreshing to have people be able to take a moment and just connect with their breath, body, and soul!"
