Location
Sedona Mago Retreat is located, just outside of Sedona, at 4,500 feet above sea level in the heart of the Arizona high desert. This secluded retreat with beautiful walking paths, serene pool and organic garden is the perfect to place delve into our practice and transformational work. The large yoga room is ideal for our study and creates a warm, supportive environment to go deeper. As the week unfolds, the retreat center becomes a magical place full of tradition and new discoveries. Offering pristine desert wilderness and magnificent red rock vistas, this retreat center provides an ideal environment for your Baptiste program!
Accommodations
The rooms are casitas style, comfortably furnished with a table, chairs, vanity, and either full bath or standup shower. Surrounding the rooms are beautiful juniper trees, gardens, and the nearby Zen-meditation lake and waterfalls, and herb garden. You may enjoy the beauty and serenity both inside and outside your room.

Tuition and Housing
There are three lodging options to make this retreat as economically accessible as possible: single occupancy, double occupancy and triple occupancy and prices are based the type of accommodation you are assigned.
Tuition includes your lodging and meals for the duration of the training. Your $500 non-refundable deposit will be applied to your tuition.
- Single Room: 3175.00 – Sedona Mago Retreat offers a limited number of private rooms with a double bed and a private bath. During this training which occurs in a group setting, single rooms offer the peace and privacy some of us may desire to process our daily breakthroughs.
- Double Room: 2875.00 – This is the most plentiful type of room that the retreat offers. Furnished with two double beds for comfort and relaxation in your room. Each room has a patio that opens to the beautiful desert for relaxation your room.
- Triple Room: 2675.00 – The most economical room the retreat has. Out fitted with three beds and meditation spaces in the room. These rooms are surrounded by the natural beauty that Sedona provides.
Arrival and Departure Information
Arrival:
- Please plan on arriving onsite by 3 PM on June 9th, 2012, the start date of program.
- In order to maintain the integrity of the program, and to uphold your commitment to show up 100%, we cannot allow any late arrivals.
- Sedona Mago Retreat is about an hour and a half driving distance outside of Phoenix and an hour outside of Flagstaff.
- Many Level One Attendees choose to arrive a day early to acclimate to the environment, and to mitigate potential travel delays. If at all possible, we recommend arriving a day early. You can book rooms at Mago directly or choose a hotel close by.
- The first meal provided is dinner on the start date of your program followed by an orientation, and program starts promptly at 7 PM. If you are arriving earlier in the day, we recommend eating before you arrive or brining snacks. Dinner is typically around 5 PM but please look for reminder emails with that information closer to your program start date.
Departure:
Program ends on June 16th, 21012. We do offer an optional yoga class from 7 AM to 9 AM that morning. Breakfast is served from 8 AM -10:30 AM. We invite you to stay for the yoga class, although you are welcome to depart at any time.

Baptiste Power Yoga Institute has partnered with Christopherson Business Travel as our designated travel management company, and we recommend them should you wish to use a travel agent to book your flights, transfers, etc.

Sedona Mago Retreat is located at 3500 Bill Gray Rd. Sedona, AZ 86336.
Please do not use your GPS as it will take you to a wrong direction. Do NOT use Forest Service Road 525, follow the directions provided. Please do not stop at the Mago Information Desk, the retreat is eleven miles down the road from the desk.
Airport:
Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (about an hour away) or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (about 1.5 hours away)
Driving Directions to Sedona Mago Retreat:
- From Phoenix or Southern Arizona | Take Interstate Highway I-17 North to the Cottonwood Exit #287. Turn left and follow Hwy 260 toward Cottonwood for 12 miles to the intersection of Hwy. 89A. Turn right going toward Sedona. Go through two traffic lights and then you will see a brown sign indicating 761 or Bill Gray Road on your left side. Turn left onto Bill Gray Road. Bill Gray Road is an unpaved forest service road. Follow this dirt road for approximately 10.8 miles until you see the sign for Ilchi Road on your right side. Turn left at this sign, cross the cattle guard, and go approximately 1,000 feet to the Sedona Mago Retreat’s main gated entrance.
- From Flagstaff & Northern Arizona | Take 89A South through Sedona until you find a brown sign indicating 761 or Bill Gray Road on your right side and turn right onto Bill Gray Road. OR take I-17 south from Flagstaff to the Sedona exit (for Hwy. 179), follow 179 into Sedona and turn left onto Hwy. 89A (going toward Cottonwood). Follow Hwy. 89A through Sedona until you find a brown sign for 761 or Bill Gray Road on your right side, and turn right onto Bill Gray Road. From this point, follow the previously stated directions to reach Sedona Mago Retreat. Bill Gray Road is an unpaved forest service road. Follow this dirt road for approximately 10.8 miles until you see the sign for Ilchi Road on your right side. Turn left at this sign, cross the cattle guard, and go approximately 1,000 feet to the Sedona Mago Retreat’s main gated entrance.

Shuttle:
Sedona-Pheonix Shuttle: At the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, you can rent a car or use the public shuttle service from the airport to Cottonwood, Arizona. Please say you are going to “Mago Garden”. If you use the shuttle service to get to the Sedona Mago Retreat, please make sure to call 928-204-3386end_of_the_skype_highlighting to arrange our Pick-up Service (from Mago Information Center to the our main property). When you arrive at Mago Information Center, a Sedona Mago Retreat staff person will pick you up as previously scheduled and bring you to the Sedona Mago Retreat.

Sedona Mago Retreat Shuttle Pickup Service
When you arrive at the Mago Information Center by the above shuttle bus, a Sedona Mago Retreat staff person will pick you up as previously scheduled and bring you to the Sedona Mago Retreat.
You must reserve your seat, informing the Guest Service Office in the Welcome House of your arrival time at least one week prior to arrival. For your reservation, please call the Welcome House 800-875-2256 or 928-204-3388. If your flight is delayed and you miss your shuttle, please phone to let us know what shuttle you will be on. This service is complimentary.
