Baptiste Power Yoga Institute is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School and selected Baptiste coursework can be used to obtain both the 200 & 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certificate in partnership with Yoga Alliance. This powerful development is designed to further your credibility as a Baptiste Yoga™ teacher in your community, so that you can continue to expand and grow your contribution within the Baptiste community and beyond. Yoga Alliance designates their RYT certificates by total training hours, please note that the Baptiste requirements are quite rigorous and most often you will have completed MORE than 200 or 500 hours.

200 Hour RYT Baptiste Requirements:

The Yoga Alliance RYT-200 is available to those individuals who have completed Baptiste Level One & Two Trainings.  The selected coursework required to apply for your Yoga Alliance RYT-200 include:

• Baptiste Level One Training (completed in 2009 or later)
• Baptiste Level Two Training (completed within 2 years of your Level One Training)

If you have completed the requirements above, please contact Yoga Alliance and present them with your letters of completion for Levels One and Two to receive your Yoga Alliance RYT-200.

500 Hour RYT Baptiste Requirements:

The Yoga Alliance RYT-500 is available to those individuals are Certified Baptiste Teachers who have completed a combination of selected coursework (listed below) totaling to 300 hours or more, and have completed at least 100 hours of classroom teaching as a Certified Baptiste teacher. The selected coursework that can be used to apply for your Yoga Alliance RYT-500 include:

• Art of Assisting = 50
• Foundations in Action = 50
• Apprentice Program (at weeklong trainings) = 120
• Assistant Program (at weeklong trainings, you may use up to two assistant experiences) = 130
• Level Three Training = 130
• Ignite Your Power = 121
• Repeat Level 1 in 2009 or later= 95.5
• Repeat Level 2 in 2009 or later= 105

A letter verifying your 100 hours of classroom teaching as a Certified Baptiste Teacher. (Please include the contact information of the signators on your letter and a copy of your annual or weekly teaching schedule).

To obtain your RYT-500 from Yoga Alliance, you must present them with a Baptiste 500 Hour Certificate which acknowledges your completion of required Baptiste coursework.
