Michel is passionate about the power of yoga and meditation and its ability to change our lives. Coming from a career as a middle and high school teacher, Michel realized that no amount of education was going to make an impact until we can learn to live with kindness and joy, so that we can make authentically healthier choices for ourselves and each other. Yoga is the tool that helps her do this in her own life, and she shares this through her teaching. Michel’s classes not only transform your body and release stress, but they empower you to live your whole life authentically.
Michel has been practicing and teaching yoga since 2001, and has studied with Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rae, Anna Forest, and Lisa Black. She brings her passion for kindness and authenticity to each and every class, encouraging you to work hard with compassion.
Today, Michel also designs and facilitates programs that develop mindful awareness and social emotional capacity for large corporations, individuals and children, including de-Stress at Your Desk and Moving Beyond Fear.
