Kate began practicing yoga 7 years ago after the birth of her 4th child. Yoga was a time for her to center and reflect on her own being away from all other responsibilities of being a mom. Kate began to notice the positive effects of a regular yoga practice in her mind, body and spirit so she decided to enroll in her first teacher training with Jimmy Barkan in 2007 where she received her first 200 hour certification.
After practicing and teaching Hot Yoga for some time Kate decided to advance her career and sign up for her first Baron Baptise Level 1 training in 2011. Having never taken one Baptiste class in her life she was instantly inspired by this style of yoga from the very first day. Baptiste yoga was different in so many ways from other styles she had come to know. What spoke to Kate the most in this style of yoga was the use of empowerment and possibility. Through Baptiste Yoga Kate realizes that anything is possible if we choose to create it. Baptiste Yoga inspired Kate to open her own successful yoga studio in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida.
Kate has successfully completed Baptiste Level 2 and Level 3 Teacher Trainings as well as The Art of Assisting.
Kate is married to her best friend Dan with whom she has 5 children.
