Jeff has completed over 300 hours of teacher training, including the Baptiste Certification process, Levels One and Two training, and the Baptiste assistant/alignment specialty training. He continues to further his education by attending various teacher trainings and workshops.
Since Jeff was a young boy, he has always been drawn to fitness and exercise. He began skiing at age 3 and loved the sense of movement. He continued to love exercise and motion and became an active cycler and skier. It was after a friend shared her love of yoga and the deep benefits that Jeff found his way in his first yoga class in 2003.
After his first hot power yoga class, his transformation began, he felt like a changed man. Being a fitness enthusiast, spending long hours at the gym, on his bike and on the ski slopes, Jeff realized that the practice of yoga would provide him the level of fitness and exercise he craved, while offering him an increased level of mind and body awareness. Jeff loved the feeling of being alive, open and pushed beyond his limits.
Jeff began a daily yoga practice and realized he needed to share the power of yoga with others. He found his way to the Baptiste studio in Cambridge, which led him to his first teacher training. He has been teaching ever since at local yoga studios and gyms.
Jeff brings a blend of challenge, mindfulness and playfulness to his classes, allowing students to feel their own personal experience on their mat. He encourages students to take that freedom and power off their mat and into their lives.
