Elizabeth began as a student at the Cambridge studio in early 2000, after finding an ad in the yellow pages! From the first five minutes she was hooked on Baptiste Yoga and has never looked back. That first season of classes led to a training in Mexico, volunteer shifts, and becoming a teacher at the studio. An intensive Cambridge program of teacher training and assisting Baron’s classes gave Elizabeth a powerful foundation to assist Baron on many workshops, bootcamps, and teacher trainings across the country and beyond.
“To me, being a student of yoga is commiting yourself to being the best person that you can be. It means that your goal is to be clear, strong, and inspiring. Asana – practicing poses – is a means to rid yourself of physical and psychological blockages. We are amazing physical beings, but our culture today conspires to shadow our brightness with insecurities and poor health. Baptiste yoga is a fun, accessible, and powerful way for people to rediscover faith in their bodies and themselves.”
Elizabeth is currently living in Massachusetts, teaching competitive horseback riding. She has been riding her whole life, and teaching riding for fifteen years. Her education at BPYI has allowed her to bring a new depth of anatomical and spiritual knowledge to a life long passion.
