Sixteen years ago, feeling the need to investigate the ancient practice of yoga, Danielle began taking classes wherever and whenever she could. She began with an Iyengar based practice that focused on breath, movement and alignment.
In 2005, hoping to deepen her practice she began to research teaching programs. After one class at the Baptiste Studio in Boston, she new she had arrived. The Baptiste practice was challenging, yet compassionate, creative, consistent and cleansing all at once.
She has been teaching for four years. A love for yoga and the Baptiste process inspire her to share this practice everyone.
In addition, Danielle completed a 200-hour certification program with Anahata Yoga in Rowley, MA in the fall of ’08. This training involved the study of various modalities of Hatha yoga. (Kripalu, Iyengar, Vinyasa and Contact). She became Baptiste 200-hour Certified in the Spring of ’09.
Danielle has taught yoga to young and old. Babies, toddlers, school aged children and teens. She has also trained and taught yoga to Cancer and Parkinson’s patients at Penny’s Circle of Hope in Marblehead, MA and the Wellness Community of Salem. Recently, Danielle Co-Chaired Yoga Live, a super mat yoga event supporting Cancer Wellness on the Northshore for the Sue de Vries Cancer Foundation.
