Two decades ago, a college friend brought Beth to her first yoga class in South Beach. Oh, what a feeling! She left with a delightful sense of connection. It kept her coming back, especially when she was a professional fundraiser who was also pursuing her MBA at Northwestern University. She began teaching yoga in 2001 when she and her husband Terry opened up Om on the Range in Chicago.
Beth studies with many yoga and mindfulness teachers and is especially proud to be a Certified Baptiste Vinyasa Yoga teacher at the 500 hour level. She has assisted Baron and finds this connection a continual source of joy and growth. His intensity in teaching yoga as transformation is an inspiration.
“Baron’s desire to share his gifts as a teacher with all takers is genuine and powerful. He helps you wipe your slate clean of what has happened and what might happen, leaving you space to be with what is right in front of you. This isn’t just conversation and concept; it’s real time delight and union. The BPYI process is a healthy and jostling way to make your life positive and clear.”
Beth is the mother of 2 school age boys and loves raising them with her husband Terry. Her yoga practice and studies allow her to create an integrated life full of love of family, community and possibility. After taking a yoga workshop with Baron, Beth wanted to experience more of his intensity and purpose in connecting students with their way of being. Beth finds trainings and other immersions with Baron and his team a continual source of inspiration, joy and growth.
