Anne grew up with a passion for movement and athletics. Initially trained in ballet and gymnastics, Anne went on to compete in collegiate gymnastics at University of Vermont. In 1993, Anne received a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from University of New England, after which Anne worked as an Orthopaedic Physical Therapist. This was the beginning of her love of human anatomy, and her passion for working “hands on” with her patients.
Introduced to yoga in 1999, Anne was hooked by its beauty of flow, movement and meditative qualities. After attending her first Baptiste yoga class in 2008, Anne knew instantly “this is it”, and she could really see herself teaching this style of yoga some day. Attending Baron’s teacher trainings have been life changing for Anne physically, emotionally and have deepened her passion to share this amazing style of yoga with others. Anne was a participant in Level one Teacher Training August 2010, Level two Teacher Training May 2011, Level three Teacher Training December 2011, and Art of Assisting November 2010. Her style of teaching is nurturing and supportive, yet powerful and challenging. She teaches at Mystic Yoga Shala in Stonington, CT.
Anne lives in Ivoryton, CT with her husband and four children, who inspire her every day!
