Yes Pauline so well said.! Many of us, especially me, struggle with guilt and ask "am I good enough" to stick
To our 40 day program or something that closely resembles it. But residue of the 40 days is there, sometimes forgotten but always present. I am grateful for all that "stuck with me," and all I carry forth into

Well said Dave!! You know many people ask me why am I so excited about this "Baptiste stuff?"
Especially since I was already a yoga teacher (mom was a yoga teacher) and have tried so many different types of yoga over my 41 years of practice. When I or others first hear about the practice it may seem all about "the power and strength" on a physical level. But it is not till I looked deeper, within myself thru the meditation and inquiry did I discover the miracles of this practice. It is extremely transformative to focus so much attention on "stilling the mind," the way Baron does.
Also I think it's one thing to "hear" others speak about large changes or transformations, it's another to
believe it and then it's again another thing to actually "Be something." I personally believe that you
can only go from the believing stage to the "being" stage when you have truly experienced something in
your own skin.

Well said Lisa! What a great way to see "doing" and "being." These 40 days have really thaught me to hone
in on all of the above steps. I used to do the pose, as you say, from the way "I thought I should instead of practicing from seeing where I was". After taking things step by step and having faith in the process
by body opened up to more possibilities then I have EVER seen!(practicing 41 yrs).

Also when I practice a great deal of time alone and teach I notice I get into "bad patterns" of alignment or limited thinking(I can never do that inversion). I used to "think" my alignment was fine and I are stacking our bones correctly ect and then something would show up in my body like a swollen wrist or a sore shoulder.
It has been a blessing these 40 days to be exposed to so many great teachers like you.

I loved your post Don, especially the part about letting go without judgment and re-focusing as often as necessary!
